Our Story

Mr. Waruna Munasingha had his beginnings at the tender age of 17 in the southern coastal town of Galle. During his 2 year career there, he did not draw a salary for one entire year, instead he was only given food. Only during his second year he was rewarded with Rs. 50 per month.

He moved to the capital, Colombo thereafter. Gaining employment at a tractor parts shop, he began to learn the details of the heavy vehicle parts trade.

After an unfortunate falling out with his employer in Colombo, Mr. Munasingha suffered with great financial difficulties. This eventually led him down the path toward entrepreneurship. After selling his vehicle Mr. Munasingha used this as a capital to establish his own business in 2006,

Since then, Waruna Motors Business has grown to become a benchmark in the industry. Over the years, numerous clients have placed their trust in us and a result, we will continue flourish as a leading name in the industry!
